A group of adults
were asked about how they choose a summer holiday, giving a score from 1 – 10 according
to the importance they give to seven factors considered in that activity.
Despite the fact
that although both groups obtained the same score in “price”, “Good local food”
and “friend recommended it”, the graph shows results of six, eight and seven respectively.
Men place greater
importance on “attractive advertisement” and “sport facilities” even though the
difference compared to women is only three and two points out of ten.
Women place
greater importance on “near water” with a difference of three points with respect
to men.
Taking everything
into consideration, there are not, however, significant differences between the
scores of men and women, the highest being three points which was obtained on “attractive
advertisement” and "near water".
